Welcome to the Pacific Northwest Pop Warner Region Online Educational Program
Requirements:
The educational program is comprised of modules which are intended to inform & educate all volunteers on the requirements of Pop Warner. The training program has been developed to ensure all volunteers are aware of the issues and concerns they may encounter as a Pop Warner Volunteer.
Definition:
Volunteers include all Head Coaches, Assistant coaches, (Football & Spirit), and all other rostered positions within the League One Official program. In addition it is intended for all members on each League Election Form and the Association Registration Form. Simply put if you are volunteering in any capacity for Pop Warner (e.g. Administrator for either the League or Association, holding a coach’s position in all capacities) you should take the On-Line Educational Training Course, as it will assist in limiting the liabilities for all of us.
The On-Line Educational Program includes Topic specifics and also Scholastics the following modules are:
- Football Module - Was developed is for all Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Athletic Directors and any others that are rostered on the LeagueOne Roster. Cost for the online course is $25.00. (In addition you are required to take either the USA or ASEP On-Line program. (The ASEP course is supposed to be available this year).
- Spirit Module – Was developed for all Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Athletic Directors and any others that are rostered on the LeagueOne Roster. Cost for the online course is $25.00. In addition you are required to take the ASEP On-Line program. (The program course is supposed to be available this year).
- Administration Module – Was developed for all League & Association personnel serving their respective communities who are registered on either League or Association Election Form. Cost for the online course is $25.00 and includes all three modules.
Upon completion of the On-Line Training you shall be prompted to print a Certificate of Completion. As a reminder completion certificates will generate if you pass the course with a percentage of 80 or above. The coaches will place their certificates in the team book according to the instructions disseminated from the Region.
The On-Line Training Program shall be accessible to you before July 1, 2011 and is required for this year. All certifications must be completed on or before September 1, 2011 when access to the program will be locked out.
The Vice Regional Director will issue weekly reports to the Leagues CEO informing them as to whom, has taken the training courses. The Leagues CEO's shall bear the responsibility of ensuring all required volunteers have completed and passed the Pacific Northwest Region Pop Warner On-Line Educational Program Course.
